    From these 2 experiences you need to put a block under the rear of rear/ramp end of the trailer in the future. Tailgate theft is all the rage down here in the southern US so there may be some great individuals with tailgates out there for sale.

    Hi wild, sorry I only just saw this message. Forum didn't alert me.

    The block idea is both simple and good practice.
    I'll do that from now on. Never too late to adopt better habits.

    Thanks for the tail gate ideas but unfortunately I'm in the uae and postage will be very expensive.
