I just did it by mistake.
Thought I'd be saving other things.
I lost dive terrain modes.
Forscan looks to be retained. Because my mirrors folded inwards when I locked the car.
car returned yesterday
same issue happened the second time I drove it today
it was fine in the morning - relapsed in the afternoon
my spark plugs have never been replaced - Ford said they're replaced at 100,000 miles
here is what the OBD reader is pulling
Instead of flashing, maybe it was turning off and then on? Meaning something triggered it, then relapsed.
You know - as I was driving it.
It did feel like it was a spark plug issue - because it was struggling to maintain an idle. And when driving, it felt underpowered.
The other day my raptor started shuddering and vibrating at idle
Stops when I drive
But it felt like rain mode
Very limited performance
CEL flashing on and off
Ford said they would reset the VVT and then reprogram it
My cam phaser VVT was replaced about 12,000 miles ago
Car currently has about...
Does it matter whether I use the outlet at the front or at the back?
I intend to charge a battery:
Battery:
Li-ION
14.4 volts 6,700 mAh
Charger:
Input: 100-240 0.8A
Output: 16.8 volts 1.5 Amps 25.2 watts
When I am in sport mode and shifting manually, sometimes the transmission hangs in sixth gear.
You can imagine how difficult it would be to start accelerating from a traffic light while in sixth gear.
Ironically! Restarting the car remedies this immediately.
heh heh
As an accountant, I understand your point very well.
But a catastrophic failure of 5000 covered by 3200 is good
How likely is my Ford susceptible to failure
thats my question
Will I experience mechanical failure over 3200?
I don't know.
I've never owned a Ford or a Raptor.
Hence this thread.
I guess my question is, how often or how likely will a 2017 raptor experience expensive damage?
$3,200 for six years or till 100,000 miles
My 2017 currently has about 56,000 miles
I drive about 2,200 miles a month
The warranty will cover whatever is mentioned in the attached pdf. The photograph illustrates what's not covered.
Based on how much I drive, I calculated that I'll have...
yeah - looks like last minute design
They should have had 3 buttons
Normal / rain
Sport
Off-road suite
In modes with more than one function, pressing the button cycles through the suite
I have it on low sensitivity
I'll get a warning once a month
Usually some inattentive idiot cut in front of me
Otherwise it's not obnoxious if you reduce sensitivity
