Took me like 7 ish hours, but it went fairly well, a few snags of course.
Got the rear jacked way up, this is a pain because there is so much droop in the suspension. Stock Fox 3.0s.
Stock Fox 3.0 compared to the Fox Factory Race 3.0
Had to drill the bed with a template to mount the remote reservoirs. I botched one side because the template didn't print out to scale. You can't see it with everything installed though.
New shock and remote reservoir mounted. There's a little plate on the inside of the fender.
Onto the front. Had to pop the upper ball joint, the tie rod ball joint, the swaybar, the brake line, and the brake sensor line. 30mm and 27mm nut and bolt for the bottom shock bolt. Top 3 shock nuts were kinda tough to access.
New shock and reservoir mounted
The lower shock bolt had to be torqued tor 406 ft/lbs. I bought a huge torque wrench that goes up to 600 ft/lbs, 3/4" drive. Snapped my 3/4" to 1/4" adapter before I got the torque wrench to click. I have ordered a deep 30mm 3/4" drive socket and Ill have to retorque later.
You can clearly see the new components even with the wheels back on. Looks badass
