GEN 2 Not rear diff lock on 2H gen 2 raptor

I went to a ford dealership to test a 2017 ford raptor and it looks like gen 2 raptor doesnt has the option to lock rear diff in 2H.
Why?
It was so much fun having that option on the gen 1 ford raptor.

have read a few times something about the available torque would destroy the rear end in 2h. or make it fail more.

That is one more reason i still love my gen 1.
Rear shocks are both located on the right way
You can lock your rear diff

lol this is my first truck with e-lock so i don't know any difference. all my others were ls rear ends or open.

Can't answer for anyone else but my 700+ hp Gen 1 has no issues with locking the rear in 2H. That said, I also have progressive leafs and Rogue Racing traction bars.

Ford was definitely looking for easy solutions with the backwards shocks and no diff lock in 2H on the Jen 2.

i am not that educated on gen 1. i had a 14 lariat but it was 3.73ls.
i haven't read about issues with the 2wd 3.5eb with the e lock either....

The Gen 2 won't allow it because the torque will cause premature failure of diff.
