We agree on not hammering it when loaded up. But if my experience and recent discoveries have shown anything, its that you don't have to hammer it to cause some damage. At least not in the sense I think we call conjure when using the word "hammer". Honestly I can't recall any time where I hammered 'er with a bed full of crap. And yet... if that makes sense?
I think the safe vs not threshold moves around quite a bit with every pound added or taken off. The heavier she gets, the less she can take and that "hammering" becomes a "jolt" or even just a good solid "bump". Follow?
That's something I had to learn the hard way. I SO went into that inspection thinking "hey I've never hammered her when she was heavy so I'm fine." Yeeaaahh not so much
