After having a buddy come last friday night to help split them apart with me.....
It was a delicate process and after 32 hours within the past 5-6 days.......COMPLETE!!
FXR retrofit/G37r shrouds (trimmed)
painted bezels/bowls/reflectors/Morimoto rings
(this pic, the lense isn't sealed yet)
DONE!
I went with another set of the much loved 2 second warm up Denso Ballast. I suggest you seal them around the gaps for a more water resistant housing. U don't want water to stay inside and cause any longevity damage.
If you guys look at the projector in this last picture closely, you'll see a bunch of swirls. This is what a very fresnel lense looks like, that distorts a bunch of light. Aesthetics wise you can go that route but If you want output.....RETROFIT!!
