I wanted to make a build thread to track the progress of my truck. I've had a bit of time to plan while waiting to take delivery.
-I placed the order for the truck on 10/2/12 at Ted Britt Ford in Chantilly VA for $2500 off sticker, i know i could've gotten a better deal but i figured as they're a top 5 volume dealership they'd get it sooner
-DORA on 10/3/12
-Bumped priority 01 on 11/28/12, some miscommunication or lack of communication between me and the dealership and they tried to make it right by bumping the priority, def worth the wait in hindsight
-VIN 11/29/12
-build date 12/21/12
-delivered 1/8/13.
here it is the day after i picked it up and the first day driven to work, note to self it's too big and the audi will be the daily driver
Before the truck got here i went ahead and ordered a few things and got a few little things done:
-RPG stage 3 Kit
-RPG tie rods
-3M 1080 Carbon fiber wrap on reflectors, F-O-R-D, and pillars
-Magnaflow 15588
-Bedrug
-DeeZee Tailgate Assist
-Masterlock tailgate lock
-Outlaw Claw and 4" HID X lights
-Tinted Third brake light
-Rigid E-series 20" light bar for lower grill and Rigid Dually Amber flood and white spot fog kit
-LED plate, map, puddle(from AMB lighting), and dome lights, also have LED's in reverse and third brake light
-AMB LED Puddle lights
-Mag-Hytec diff cover
