What do you get when you have a young women driving behind you that isn't paying attention?

$2200 worth of mods? :rockit:

I stopped for traffic but had a good 1/2 car length in front of me when I heard squealing tires behind me, looked in my rear-view mirror to see the girl behind me get hit from behind and was coming right at me. I still had a little momentum left as I wasn't at a complete stop so before she hit me I moved up as far as I could. I supposed it helped the damage but still got hit.

So rav 4 hit chevy which in turn hit me. Girl in Rav 4 said she was reaching for change. The Equinox got jacked.... also a 2013.... ouch!

Thing that ****** me off is its a brand new truck (3k miles) and that shit is going on my car report (car fax....).

The bumper must have come up a little on the passenger side and lightly scrapped a little paint off.

I was just cut a check for the $2200. The rear graphic is $600 alone!!

Question is do I get the work done or leave it as is and take the money, maybe just touch up the paint so it doesn't rust.

Oh and sorry about the language, I like to curse a lot.

That SUCKS!
Leave it. You can find a used bumper on this forum easy. I sold mine real cheap last month; I'm sure they're others on here that will give you a great deal as well.

I know the feeling, man that sucks. But honestly, doesn't look bad at all. I would pocket the money, find a used bumper, like Blind suggested, or invest in an aftermarket front and rear bumper with the money!

Wow. Idiots. I'd leave it. Do like you said. Replace the bumper and touch up the paint.

Sorry you got nailed in the ass...Brand new truck, :rage:...
If it were my truck, I would get an aftermarket bumper, take it to a body shop and have them touch up the paint or get any dents out the metal...I know someone will come along with there "it is an off road truck it is going to get dinged up anyway) but that is what I would do.

I am not sure if something like that goes on your CarFax or not?

Bottom line is your new truck got ass screwed and that sucks, but now you have an excuse to get rid of the stock bumper, which is flimsy IMO anyway...
