Somebody took off my passenger side rear shock the other night. Parked in the driveway with the outside house lights on between about 12 and 5. Left the tools they used in the driveway. In case you haven't heard these retail at around $735 dollars plus tax. So watch out. They will take these. Anybody got a way to better secure the bolts on these? Thanks!

Are you for real? Dust the tools for prints and catch the other tool they took with the person.

Cops took the tools for prints and think that someone or something scared them off before they could move to the other side and get the other one. You want to see stupid looks on people's faces then tell them how much one of these cost. The insurance guy didn't believe me until he checked. If I catch whoever did this he's going to have trouble living.

WTF you've got to be kidding, time for an alarm dude:Grenade:
Man, I'm doubtful an alarm would even go off unless it had proximity or something. I haven't taken the shock off of a Raptor, but my old 4x4 was pretty easy without disturbing the vehicle much.

Now I'm going to be all paranoid. :suicide:

I always fantasize about some day catching some jerk-ass doing something like this. :lazer:

If you're really that worried about it lay a small tack weld on the bolt. It will only take a few minutes to grind off and you'll have the piece of mind of knowing that the shocks aren't gonna be stolen

I really hate hearing stuff like this. Brings me back to highschool when I my car was broken into. Just not right...

I'd leave it out there and hope they take the rest and have insurance replace the stolen ones with Kings.
