The reasons you stated were also mine.:waytogo:
I rarely used it on the Bonneville.
I rarely used it on the Cadillac V
I do not use it on my wife's DTS.
I saved myself some $$$$.
I do not have to worry about a leak in the future.
I do not have to worry about a raddle in the future.
It means my cab is stronger without it.
---> And most of all, :emotions34:
I do Not have to worry about :birgits_tiredcoffeea 'SunBurned' 'balled spot'. :Caffeine:

I didn't order mine with it. Just as Ruger stated the roof is more rigid without the hole. It also is one less place to leak. Especially if you plan to keep the vehicle well beyond warranty and seals and things start to dry out.
Regarding the head room, based on the pictures I think I have maybe an extra inch without the moon roof.

I ordered one with, but when another truck arrived at the dealership without one I jumped on it. I don't miss it, and a few of the '10 guys had issues with leaks so I figured why not. It will also be much better to not have it when I put a cage in it.

To each their own... I'm sure it is nice with the back window, used to do that all the time with my 4Runner.

I know you are looking at the front camera thing to why do you want a raptor?
as long as you are going to be taking it of road I can understand the questions
if all your going to do is have a daily driver I don't understand why you don't want
all the raptor has to offer basically it looks like a regular pickup with out the up grads except the wheels and grill shocks its basically a f150 and if you get a regular f150 with only a few mods it's a lot cheaper and look just as nice
so my question is why the raptor?

it's like ordering a chilly dog I'll have a chilly dog hold the chilly and a diet coke with a packet of sugar thanks'

Whats with you? If I wanted a regular F150, I would look for a regular F150. I want a Raptor. What do you say to the guys that get it without any options? Maybe they should just go get a horse wagon? C'mon man. Just because I'm asking the forum if the moonroof and front camera are worth getting doesnt mean I cant afford the options or the Raptor. LOL. The moonroof and the front camera dont make the Raptor what it is. If you like getting all the options on your cars just to say"fully loaded", knock yourself out. I'm not one to get options just for the sake of getting options.

Holly Crap Wilson, how far north do you live?? It was that cold yesterday??

X3 Same here. Great breeze and very little road noise on the highway.
^^ x4

Looks like you made your decision, so I’m not trying to convince you otherwise. Just wanted to let you know if you’re not going to use it, don’t spend the money. But also know, there are other uses for it

I got the moon roof and glad I did. I use it quite a bit. It also saved the inside of my truck from getting completely trashed on the TX RR. I got temporarily immobilized in the large mud hole on the back half of the course. My co-driver wanted to get out to flag someone down, but we were surrounded by 4 to 5 feet of water on all sided. Plus the water was over the side step bars at the bottom of the doors. So, he climbed out the roof to the back of the hard tonneau covers. From there he was able to get a running start and jump to shore (so to speak). Kind of a funny story, but I love it!
