Hi there, I just ordered Toyo M/T 315/70/R18 (36/13.0/r18) tires with double standards 18mm offset. Will I have any rubbing issues at mid perch under full compression or sharp turn? And how about on top perch? If you have experience with a setup like this or know someone who does, please let me know if I need to make any modifications before I go test it out this weekend. Thanks!

I have toyo mt that are 35/12.5/18 and my wheels have an 18 off set. I do get rub with the off roading I do on the inner fenders and the push pins that hold the fender flare in place. Oh and I'm on mid perch.

I recommend you get them with a 0mm offset. This will help prevent rubbing. You can also flatten the pinch weld under the fender which will prevent the damage ihavegas has seen.

I ran 36" bfg mt's on mid perch and I was rubbing. I was able to take car of most of it by doing major trimming of the inner fender well and pounding in the corner. However, I still would hit the upper fender flare and actually shifted them up. The passenger side went into the a pillar and actually caused a small crack in the fender.

I would recommend not running 36's unless your on top perch which opens a whole other set of problems on the 2012's and up because of the torsion diff.

I'm about to try and stuff 37's on my new 13 with 0mm offset methods but I plan on doing major trimming to the fender lip. Plus I now have icons 3.0's which keep the suspension from bottoming out. It may not work for me but I'm willing to gamble. If you're willing to gamble than go for it.

You won't have much of an issue, if any with that size. Go mid perch and you won't have any issue.

No sweat. You should be ok at top perch on a 10. Ford instroduced a torsion front diff in 2012 and it does not work well with top perch. I personally have not ran on top perch with stock shocks. You'll find varying opinions but I've heard it gives a pogo effect because of the amount of preload on the springs. Do a search on here and you'll find plenty of info.

Since your ordered them I would loosen the 2 under the good that hold the top of the fender to the truck. With them loose pull the fenders out a little bit then torque them down . This will miss align them a bit but should you bottom out and shift them up it will keep them from going into the a pillar. I would do this for the first time you offroad with the setup. If you don't make any contact up top just merely shift them back. It will protect against the cracked fender I got.

Oh, and we just did a run from grass valley to Reno to Tahoe. I'm hoping to put something together in the coming months. There was a few planning a Death Valley run but I haven't seem any solid dates yet.
