US and A. Greatest country in world. Yes?
So...I'm driving down the highway, listening to music iPhone, and it just quits. Now........whenever I try to connect via the media button, all it does is go silent for 2-3seconds and returns to the radio. Furthermore, the Bluetooth icon remains at the top of the screen, yet the iPhone won't connect to the truck. Message received "ensure device is in range" I'M SITTING IN THE TRUCK!!!!!!!!!

First I would try and resync your phone. If that doesn't work dissconnect your battery for a few minutes, then resync the phone. If it still doesn't work There are some sync updates on fords side, I.E reprogrames of the sync modules. Plus there are some updates that your cell phone provider can do to your phone and service. Unfortunately most of the problems with sync are the phones. Hope this helps.

Fords SYNC is twitchy at best... or at least it is in my truck. I've had problems with bluetooth connectivity from the beginning. Usually a device delete, then add device fixes the problem...if not, the master reset does the trick. HOWEVER, just this last week, my SYNC wouldn't even display a code for connecting a device. I thought for sure I'd have to pull the fuse..

Well, I guess the truck heard my frustrated grunts, because today, lo and behold, I get a connection code and everything seems normal.

...just weird...

Its not the iphone....just some units are quirky.
MICROSOFT

Anyway, I had the same issue last week, and one of my raptor brothers popped off the kick panel on the passenger side and pulled the secong fuse from the top left if you are looking straight at the panel...its a blue fuse...tiny too...fixed it.

My Bluetooth connection is also spotty, phone works ok but music sucks. Checked with my ford dealer and "the website is down, check back in a few days."
