I am really enjoying seeing all the pictures and reading the stories thus far. I know you guys and gals are tired after a long weekend. I have been reading this forum for a year about different modifications, products, upgrades, lights, etc, etc.
After you all really pushed your trucks this last weekend at this epIc event of a true test, I would love to have a thread with a good review of how your mods did. Positives, negatives, wish I would have gotten this instead of that for this reason, wasted my money on this part, essential upgrades, stuff everyone considered a must have, how well this held up, etc etc.

Just asking, I apologize if this was covered somewhere else. Looking for more specifics rather than general takeaways after you all got together and really pushed these trucks.

Wish I could have come. Hope to prepare according for the next one!

I did Friday and Saturday stock (except for the mid perch which I got done prior to the run).

I had RPG Stage 3 installed Saturday and did the night run with that.

The difference was immediately noticeable. CineSLR rode with me on the midnight run (he drives a SCREW too) and we both were super impressed with the ride quality improvements.

Makes me want to do my front end now so I can catch up on plushness.

mid perch made life a LOT better (i'm hearing stock perchers hit their skidplates more).
Stage 3 made the ride way more comfortable and added the confidence I needed for frame support.

I installed Stage 3 the week before the run, and it took the amount of fun out there to a new level.

I plan to do a full write-up on the installation and review - but wanted to wait until after the run to do so. It will probably sound like I'm getting paid to sell RPG Gear by the time I'm done with it (of course I am not) but that's how much I liked it.

RPG installed the National springs on Friday and it was a night and day difference. THe rear felt so planted and much smoother!

Many thanks to Cory, Jarrett and the other RPG guys.

I don't want to take anything away from the guys with aftermarket suspension bits but I am blown away with what this truck can handle in bone-stock form (except for perch mod and I took off my sway bar as well).

I truly hammered on my truck this weekend and it ate it up! I mean I was beating the living dog shit out it.

My only gripe was the throttle delay. When Ryan convinced me to start shifting myself, that little concern went away. I will never use "D" offroading again.

I will say if you want to run hard at night you need to add some type of auxilliary lighting.

I can confirm him on both counts.

He was the truck in front of me in B group staging on Saturday and I didn't see him again once he left the line.

And, his 40" lightbar was bright as heck on the midnight run.
