So since the delivery of my new SuperCrew, the BedRug that I had in my SuperCab won't fit with the tailgate step. Instead of modding it and cutting it up, I think my buddy wants it for his truck and then I was going to order another one.

But...

What about something else? I know there is Line-X. I could color match it and since it's always covered with the BakFlip cover, I am not too worried about the fading. But if there was something in the back that dug into it, that sucks.

I don't do plastic liners.

There is the Bed Tred by BedRug, but not really sure the difference. I really enjoyed my BedRug, so I might as well get one of those again?

Anyone have any other products they really like?

this is what i was explaining to you in the other thread. if you use the regular access panel, and delete the stripper pole you should be able to use the bedrug and or any of the other products with no problem. you can hold onto the stripper pole just in case whoever you sell your truck to wants it in the future. it goes back in in 5 minutes.

Yeah, I definitely realize what you're talking about. Taking the pole out and then the other one will fit. I guess that's the most financially economical choice of all. I'll get with my buddy and see if he really wants my old one or not.

Thanks!

I went back and forth and read all the pros/cons relative to the various options. I have the BakFlip as well and really like my Bedrug.

I have the bed tread which I love it. Looks like line-x but easier on the knees when kneeling.

I had LineX in my last truck. Had to get it re-sprayed after the first one chipped and peeled. I ordered a full BedRug for this one. I hope I like it. I also have a BakFlip F1. I think I'll really like this setup for my light needs, but I guess I'll have to drill through the BedRug for the BakFlip drain lines. :-(

You don't have to drill holes through the rug, just route the drain tubes behind the rug.

Bedtred

I have and love the Bedtred! I drilled a 3/4'' hole with a holesaw for the drain tubes for my Bakflip F1 in the plastic caps on the bulkhead of the bed before I got my Bedtred. so after I installed my Bedtred I just crawled under the truck between the cab and bed and used a hook tool to poke a hole in the Bedtred to locate where to drill from inside the bed. I used a 3/4" holesaw on a cordless to drill the Bedtred for the drain tubes. The drain tubes are a nice tight fit with no gap around the tubes.

I have been debating between line-x and bedtred. I have had a bedrug before and it was a great product. I just don't want it on this truck. Now between bedtred and Line-x, I'm going to go with bedtred. Why? Your bedrug is the perfect example. If I sell my truck in the future, I can't take out the Line-x and put it in my new one or sell it!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that BedTred does not have an option for you if you have the tailgate step w/pole.
