I betcha 'Bolt paints/powders those raw skids on his bumpers in Blue Flame..... and I betcha it will look straight gangster when he does.

can't wait to see it completed! Are you not going to send the wheels back? Are you going to be spraying satin anyway?

I'm by no means an expert on coatings, but spraying a clear satin over powdercoating has not been a long lasting effect in past experience. UV rays eat that shit off in about 12 months.
What did your shop (that screwed it up) recommend?

Having a tough time deciding between adding a blue accent to the wheels or leave them black. This is a tape mock up as if I go this way I will color match them to the truck. Opinions?

The blue is interesting but given your plans for the bumpers, it may be too much. The simplicity of all black wheels may work better with the other blue accents.

Just my $0.2 worth...
