I have my 20s in the garage. I will measure them tomorrow. And I will measure the 17s on the truck. See what I come up with. I know I have been over 100 mph without your issue.
Thanks man. The shop recommend putting hub centric rings on and seeing if that will help.

some of the billet flush method caps make them hubcentric.. not sure who is making them these day, but it was chief machining.

def cheaper than buying new wheels, but a lot of people have no issues with methods... did you try rotating tires?

This is crazy i never heard of non hub centric rims causing a problem like this but it makes complete sense. I guess it would only take 2-3mm to negate/ compound the balancing characteristics of the tire.

I have had methods on all my trucks, and my last 2 Raptors. No issue at all, but the bore is 87.10 mms so if the Wheels you got are 94 mm then that could easily cause a wobble I guess. Glad you figured it out at least. I am sure you can offload and sell your current wheels to re-coup some of the expense for the new wheels.

My Gen 1 started doing this around 100 when the mileage got up there. Never did it when newer it would go smoothly all the way up to around 115 give or take a few mph till the governor limiter kicked in. When I did full shock rebuild and replaced my lwr ball joints the wobble went away

Hey @Keith88 . This is Justin previously of Pacific Wheel. I was the one who sold you the wheels. While the wheels are not hub centric I wouldn’t necessarily say they’re incorrect. The Method MR301,304,305,306 & 309 all utilize the same cap and are not offered hub centric. I apologize that is was not disclosed that MR305’s aren’t hub centric. We sold 1000’s of 305’s for many vehicles and none are hub centric due to the caps. And that goes for all vehicles, not just Ford. It’s not just Method either. Any wheel that has a push thru cap cannot be hub centric. I am not saying the hub bore is or isn’t the issue but it was extremely rare to see an issue with a MR305 unless the wheel itself was defective.

The down side about a hub ring is you cannot run the method caps with them. If you’re interested I can reach out to a machinist that used to make hub centric billet caps for me. I’m not sure he still does it but I can reach out if you’d like? Shoot me a PM if you want me to check.

I appreciate you reaching out. I threw on the rings right now and all is solved. I was actually able to use method flat caps with no issue. ‍♂️
