A buddy who owns a Tacoma invited me out with his crew for Tacoma World - said screw it, why not! Me and about 6 Tacoma’s on the trail...great day, good crew and good guys.
We explored about 40 miles of trail in the Big Bear area. Our goal was to hit White Mountain. Good mix of terrain - some fire roads, some easier climbs, and some tricky technical stuff, but nothing none of us couldn’t handle. The Tacos without rear lockers and higher clearance had a few issues here and there. The Raptor made all of this look easy. Trail got a bit tight at points - some pretty good pinstriping on the truck that’ll need to get buffed out.
We hit a combination of 3N16, 3N17, and 3N14. Went off-road at Green Valley Lake Road and corkscrewed our way through the backcountry ending up coming out on 3N14 in Fawkskin after hitting White Mountain. Excited to explore more up there and in the Sierra.
