Any recommendations for a dashcam?

Anybody up to speed on the latest and greatest dash cam? I would want the ability for it to record while parked publicly (but not if its sitting inside my garage for days on end). I don't need it to have it's own screen. These days I'm sure you can view the data on another device when needed.

Garmin dash cam mini 2 with dongar adapter that plugs into the rear view mirror to power the cam. Cheap and works great. Get the polarized filter lense add on though it’s worth it.

Can’t even see it from the drivers seat.

I recommend Fitcamx dash cam. The camera installs in less than 5 min and looks OEM. Very easy to use and stream to your phone and download the vids Records in 4k
