Cup holder inserts

Just order two cup holder inserts on Amazon. I got totally confused with the flow through vs non-flow through console thing. As explained in several posts I read across the internet it didn't make any sense to me. A flow through to my mind's eye would be where a tiny dog could could run from side to side in the front of the truck and stay on the floor but everything I read said a flow through console has the shifter in the console and extends into the dash. Any way I opted for the Dorman 41015 vs the 9L3Z-1513562-CB from Ford. Mine were missing when I bought the truck so not exactly sure what originals looked like.

The flow through is if you have the ac vents on the back of the console for the back seat.

Update: The inserts I order on Amazon (Dorman 41015) fit perfect with no trimming, greasing or cussing required.
