Yeah thats good to hear. We’ve been out of power still, but the HEB 3/4 of a mile from me has 15-20 trucks and dudes talking under EZ ups…. #*$& about to go down….lol
Yeah I’ve got a medium sized generator to run some basics, got 25 gals for the truck and 25 gals for the generator gas cans this morning. One of these days ill be pushed into a whole home natural gas rig.
I’ve been hearing Katy is in rough shape. I sure hope those massive downed power line...
Wanted to see how people in the Houston area are faring. I’m one of the people who lost power. I thankfully snagged the last bit of gas at 4am this morning at the one station that somehow still had power. Tree debris is everywhere, reports of several tornadoes. Everyone doing ok?
Yeah Houston area dealers operate under a whole different ball game. Even in late 2019 when they had 12-20 raptors sitting on the lot, they would e s c o r t you out the door if they caught a whiff of you wanting a sub MSRP deal on a 2020. I wouldn't be surprised if dealers here are still...
Wow...ok this is what I have always been looking for. A logical explanation. I just wish there was a drain plug so you could accurately put back what you took out. I did these drain refills on my Xterra every 30K miles. Easy...dump into a bin, measure out each quart in a quart sized...
Using it constantly is likely why it worked so well. I think where people get into trouble is never using it for 3 years with the truck baking in the sun and then trying to pop it open one day. The more I used mine in the gen 2 the smoother it sounded, if I let it sit there for a while it...
So does the 24 37 package mean its gen 3.5 (different shocks, bumper) but the 35 package raptor is still a 3.0 gen or is it 3.1 because of the HUD?
The content of the 37 package including whats on the 35 is definitely a sturdy refresh, but the 35 Raptor not so much. Can a option package change...
I had a land rover that was completely eliminated by polarized glasses, the Vette doesn't seem to be effected at all. Might have something to do with the angle of the windshield.
Does the HUD actually work with polarized glasses? If it doesn't Id consider that basically the same as zero HUD. I've had HUD that works and doesn't work with polarized.
Yeah I had a 2014 1794, it had a nice looking interior, but the materials left some to be desired. Bought a 2020 Raptor and never looked back, also traded for a 2023. The remote start on the Tundra was completely useless. One thing the Raptor does so well is how it handles 35" tires in all...
Yeah....I just can't imagine a gen 3 being louder and worse on the HWY than a gen 1. Gen 3 is quieter than my gen 2 in road trip mode that's for sure. It would be interesting to compare all 3 gens with a decibel meter.
i mean the exhaust on the HWY on a road trip in quiet mode is basically inaudible....a gen 3 a nightmare on the Hwy compared to a gen 1....this doesn't pass the sniff test...lol
Id just wait till you have the truck. I went a little aggressive on a adjustable drop hitch and regretted buying it. When you get the truck, buy both and return the one that doesn't work. Its hard for anyone to say how much sag there will be, is it a dual jet ski trailer?
I fully understand...
With the ESP you've got years of warranty left, I wouldn't worry about finding a mechanic....yet... The only situation Id say a Raptor wouldn't be the best choice is if you're planning on putting like 30K miles a year on it and keeping for 12+ years with a tune. Tundras have plenty of...
Its still one of the most ponderous details in the F150 maintenance world. How the heck does the dealer get the temp up to 206-215? Hook it up to a 7000lb uhaul and drive it up a man made hill out back, let it idle for 2 hours, power brake it for 5 mins, do donuts in a field? lol Its...
