The Fort Fisher Ferry is plenty big, they usually park vehicles three wide on it. I WAS going to be staying with my mom on Oak Island, but that is now up in the air because my step dad was in the hospital this week with cardiac arrhythmia. They haven't decided yet whether they will put a stint in or schedule him for bypass surgery. So it looks like we will probably be staying in a hotel somewhere. BUT, I am SO ready for the trip.  I can't WAIT for a vacation...lol
