Hey All, So since I crashed my raptor I will be getting it back with a full new paint job, I kinda want to try and keep the paint looking as good as possible and have come across this "self-healing" Xpel film. Where I live a lot of the offroading is in tight brush and the raptors width make it a good target for bush pinstriping. has anyone used this type of film? if so how does it hold up to sratches? apparently you can scratch it up and it will just heal itself....

I see that you can get a precut kit to fit your car or truck and it covers the whole car and comes in a mat finish as well as the gloss. what is the cost on this kit?

where did you see the pre-cut kits? I'm not sure on costs, but I know the Xpel Ultimate isnt cheap..... Would be nice to have something that heals for pinstriping.

After the video that you posted I watched a second video and they were wrapping a Challenger and said they make kits that are prefit for the car just line it up on the panel. Looked easy on the video.

My truck is getting wrapped in Xpel Stealth(the matte/satin stuff) in Jan after I pick it up. I was quoted $6K. They've not done a truck so went on the high side for labor as they weren't exactly sure how much would have to be taken off the truck, etc. They're expecting it to be more like $5k. It's high, but, they usually do exotics and came highly recommended by some friends of the family.

I'll have pictures of it in about a month from now.
