I agree with Jack here. I have a 2013 with HIDs and have done nothing to them. I too consistently get flashed at since the lights are so bright. I try to react humbly and not blind the person flashing me. I have had the occasion where someone is being an ass about it, where I have flashed the high beams at them to let them know that I am using my lows and when that did not work flash my light bars. The light bars always work. Getting back to the OP, the cop is doing his job if you are not running stock or DOT compliant lights. So bitch as you might he was doing his Job. If ya disagree it is not up to you to convince the cop, that is what lawyers are for. I learned early on arguing with a cop got me absolutely now where, but having a lawyer sort it out usually made things go away.
