Hoping someone has a 50W-60W Race Radio along with an antenna they want to part with? My small hand held 5W isn’t cutting it anymore. Thanks!

Well, the xlt series is rugged, used in police and fire services as well as meeting mil specs for dust/water intrusion, I can program the radio, I have aligned these as they were going to be for a project of my own, I have roughly $550 a unit in them, but if you want rugged and dependable, then this is for you, let e know if this will work for you.

That should be “xtl series” iPhone autocorrect issues here.

I appreciate the offer and am very familiar with those radios as that’s what we have in all of our patrol units. I’m just not looking to spend that much right now and looking to stay with something a little more simple like “Rugged Race Radios” or something.

I understand, I tend to go overboard when I jump into these projects, a Chinese company named bofeng makes both mobile and portable inexpensive radios, easy to program, and will work decent for you.

I also have a vhf xts 5000 portable, but I’m thinking that may be more than your looking for too.
