Can't decide what wrap to go with for the FORD grill and the outer part of the fender flares. Either carbon fiber or matte black.
What do you guys think i should do considering my truck is silver??

Matte Black...IMO

Edit: You are going to try and wrap the 'entire' grill or just the 'FORD'

Black. That's to much cf for the flares.

+1 I actually did one flare and one door rocker and didn't even have it on long enough for a picture. It's not so bad until the sun hits it, then it stands out more than chrome. Looks a lot like denim or herringbone on large flat surfaces in the sun.

I guess it depends on what you're going for though, opinions are still subjective last time I checked.

Note that there are several manufacturers making it, and all have very different characteristics. I got one of each, and of all I liked the 3m (most expensive) the best, very realistic. I used a very large piece of the cheapest (tekwrap) with a heavy weave pattern to cover some bodywork on my tailgate, and I DO like it better there. Any other place I put it was too much regardless of MFG, and I went to matte black vinyl or plastidip.

My 2c for what it's worth.

Thanks guys, this leans over to what my choice is going to be. Matte Black. I'll post up some pics of the finished look.

Instead of doing 3m's matte black I would look into doing 3m scotchprint deep matte black. Its a new product from 3m and i ordered mine through metrorestyling.com thats one of the only places that i have found that carries it. The deep matte matches the rest of the trucks black trim like the door handles, bed caps and window trim. Also some of the matte blacks will leave finger prints smudges from the oils on your hands. With the deep matte black most of the finger prints don't show up.
