Hey guys. First post on here but have had 2 gen 1s. Last weekend I replaced a ton of suspension components on my new gen 1 including Rebuilt shocks at all 4 corners, geiser springs, OEM UCAs, Inner and outer tie rods, and deaver leafs springs. The truck feels much tighter but alignment shop says they’re still having trouble getting a perfect alignment saying something may still be messed up. I’m guessing Rack and Pinion? Also for anyone whose installed deaver +3 have you experienced that you notice more little bumps and a stiff ride? Install was 100% done right. Any help would be great and thanks in advance!

Welcome to FRF.

Deavers will take some time to brake in. You did torque them on the ground, correct? What are your tire pressures set at?

How many miles on the truck? Have you replaced the ball joints and tie rods? Doubt that the rack is your alignment issue.

Thanks Nex! I figured the deaver will need to settle some. How many miles do you think? I did torque everything on the ground but have been contemplating retorquing them. Would it be fine to loosen them and retighten while never jacking the rear up? Fronts are at 35 psi cold rears at 32 psi cold. All tie rods and ball joints have been replaced on both sides mine the ones on the LCAs. 107,000 on this truck. Previous owner had it jacked up on top perch hence all the worns parts I replaced.
