Very random and annoying question here - but I just recently purchased a ‘21 and noticed the ledge/shelf is missing from the wireless charging pad? From the pictures I can find & other vehicles I test drove, it looks like this part is not separate from the overall fixture so am curious why/how it’s missing.

Full transparency, I don’t intend to use this that often but without the shelf it makes it entirely useless unless you have a very large phone. Pictures below.

Anyone have an answer to this?

I bought a '22 a few weeks ago and am missing that shelf too. Any idea what the part number is? I can't find it by searching any of the numbers stamped in the back.

Kinda related, my charging pad doesn't work very well... Seems to have a hard time retaining contact.

All vehicle wireless pads are unreliable. Period. With or without cases regardless of make/model. Standalone wireless desk chargers are great but in car “sometimes maybe good sometimes maybe shit”
