If the tube does damage anything, then your gonna repair it anyway. I would first try the claw that [USER=21926]@smurfslayer[/USER] suggested.

Next is to pull the reservoir. Probably isn’t that bad of a job.

Do yourself a favour, get yourself some proper -45* fluid and run some through the system.
