Bro, you're in Texas, granted its Austin, if anyone short of State stops you I'd personally let the Officer in question know you'll be happy to leave him a nice "flattering"comment as soon as he gives you his badge #.

I'm sorry but having been here in the God-forsaken-North for too long, I've just about had it with LEOs here having such an attitude. You'd think for Military too they'd just cut you some slack considering 1-month pay'll barely cover the time-fees-expenses-cost of a ticket/court appearance plus the long stare from your CO.

No, Texas is Godsland and I firmly believe in 1-Plate driving, tint, and the ability to CC anywhere I believe doesn't hang a sign saying "Rob Me, No Guns Are Here!"

I thought you were concerned about getting pulled Over too, on top of just not wanting to mess up the tint.

I personally just taped a cutout of cardboard on top of my window switches when I got my 15% done.

*Sorry been a long day for me.

Nah I don't care about getting pulled over. I never had a front license plate on my Camaro for the past 5 years. Never once was I pulled over.

What film did they use and how well does it match the factory rear tint?

Not sure on the matching since they put film over the factory tint as well.

As far as what kind of tint, they used ASWF Excel series. 35% in the front and 20% in the back.

Yeah as far as I know in Texas I've only heard about being pulled over for tint on the interstate or by a state trooper.

I've had no problems, in Austin of all places in Texas.
