Will Ford drop the v8 in the Gen 2

Interesting the first post or so of every new member is whining about a V8. Most probably haven't driven or even sat in a G2 Raptor. I'm fine with my TTV6 and am fine with the tail light brightness as well.

Drove one of my employers V8 F-150's today. First time since I traded my Gen 1 in on a Gen 2. I started it and thought, theres that V8 sound. Hit the gas and thought, damn this thing's an F-ing dog. That truck could have been an 80s Corolla as far as I was concerned. After one year of owning Jenny, I no longer give a crap about that V8 sound. My truck, with its MPT tune is A-MAZ-ING!!! Period...16,000 miles now.

Ya, when I was between Raptors, the dealer had me in a 2017 F150 with the 5.0 Liter, it mostly sucked compared to my Ecoboost Rap.

Ford just made a deal with VW; the new Raptor engine will be the 1,465 HP 8L W12 quad turbo that will be tuned for torque. This will be largely the same engine used in the new Bugatti Chiron...$;^)

The only reason Ford still offers the 5.0L in the F150 is because of the crusty old farts out there that are stuck in a mindset that a pickup isn't a pickup unless it has one.
