Hey fellas,
I did a search and didn't see anyone else having this issue. Lately, when I connect my iphone, the Sync3 volume stays locked to "Prompt Volume" and doesn't let me adjust the "Audio Volume". For those that don't know, the Prompt Volume controls volume for navigation or Siri prompts while Audio Volume controls music and other audio volume.
This means, I can't adjust the volume of my music that comes through CarPlay. I litterally have to disconnect the phone, turn on the radio, and adjust the audio volume there. Then I can reconnect the phone and play my music.
So far I've tried removing my phone from the Sync3 settings and removing Sync3 from my CarPlay settings and reconnecting them. Also, Sound & Haptics "Change with Buttons" is already disabled.
Any thoughts, ideas, or smart ass quips that will at least make me laugh about this??
