So I understand the raptor is 86 inches wide. I measured a friends F350 which was 80 and my suburban is 80. Is the raptor really that much wider or is the main body 80 with three inch aggressive wheel flares on each side to get to the 86 total? Thanks

Not just the flares. The fenders themselves are flared differently than the regular f150. The rear axle is wider. The a-arms are longer....

Dimensions for the cab and bed are identical to a regular F150. Overall width excluding mirrors is 6 inches wider due to the increased front and rear track width and corresponding fender flare.

But sitting in the drivers seat seems similar to f150, 350 or any other 80 wide car? Difference is in the wheel flares back end?

As others have said, the only difference in width is the flared fenders that cover the wider tires. Same frame (aside from some reinforcement), doors, and cabin as standard F-150. If a stock F-150's mirrors clear, the Raptor's mirrors will clear too.

I had a F250 with 13.5" Wide tires and my Raptor now with a +24 offset and same size tires sits 3in wider than my previous F250. Takes up a lot more room in the drive than my previous truck.
