I'm not sure on them. You can check and see if there a Ford Racing dealer, if they are, they may have done some SC installs.

Alan, DO IT! Then give me a test ride. Lol.

They just started shipping the kits last week done know if a lot of people have them on hand yet. I know mine is arriving at Torq on Monday... (hopefully)

Anybody actually have one of these installed? Would love to hear how it changes your impressions of the truck.

What change in fuel mileage did you see?

Any transmission issues?

How many miles you have on the SC?

Do you accelerate faster more often now?

Ok I dont want to be left out. How about TN dealers??

Sorry, no current dealer in TN for auto, only marine. I would contact your local Ford dealership and see if there a Ford Racing affiliate.

There's more room on the 6.2 and the firewall than the 5.4 on the Lightnings.

And this isn't a 4 liter blower, it's a 2.9.

A rear entry is possible, but would be sacrificing multiple things. Look at the Roush kit, it requires a 60deg bend and 2 90deg bends to get the air into the SC. On the suction side of the SC, there is significant loss from turns, bends, bumps, etc. So yes, with an odd shaped inlet to duct below firewall, there would still be a loss, not to mention the excess heat at the back of the firewall.

Also, with a rear entry, to clear the firewall, the SC has to be slid so forward that the air has to be ducted about 4-6" back to the intercooler core. To do this without much loss requires more height, or sacrifice the IC core size to keep height down. Everyone will soon see that we did not sacrifice on IC size, this is the biggest aftermarket intercooler core of any late model system. :waytogo:

As engine compartments get tighter and more unique, your gonna see more go this route. :peace:

That's fine by me I like the front entry system.

Some one said you started shipping the Raptor units?

Don't get me wrong I've been waiting a long time and this would be great news.

I think your incorrect about the room, look at the video posted in the first page of this thread the unit goes one thrid under cowel in the firewall where in your pictures it's only the rear entry thats slightly under.

And what would make you think I was talking about your systems when I mention 4 liters there is a big differance is size (height) between 2.9 and 4 liters.

Thats because the blower to midplate are in different locations. The front entry has the blower pushed as far back on the midplate as it goes, with all the inlet on the front side. The rear entry moves the blower case forward. There's definitely more room under the hood in the new f150's than the older body style.

Is there a way to use the factory airbox with your setup? Is there anyway to keep things quiet? My setup unfortunately has to be as quiet as possible...

How much extra the blue paint on the supercharger? Had the black one ordered but decided to wait until the snow melts. Think I will have to go with the blue.
