The dealer I bought my raptor form called me today and said something stupid or did he?? Said the new raptor will only be produced as a scab for the first 2 years? Comments?

Complete BS. Read the official release from Ford before you believe the dealers. The official release says the SCREW will be available and released the same time the SCAB is fall of 2016.

As for my guess Im going to say $50k starting up to $65k fully loaded SCREW.

I think if they go over $68k not a lot of people will be buying into it. If its over $70k I think itll be a bust.

I agree. Although not cheap, the 2014 and later were still obtainable by a lot of people. Go over $70k but they won't sell nearly as many as they think.

I'm thinking along the same lines as BlackReef. About 5K more than 2014s (counting on worse case as 8K).

So base price SCAB: $49,995
SCREW: $52,895
Plus up to 10K in options
5.0 Ecoboost with 550-600HP optional $3000
Subtract ~4-5K for invoice pricing

I was thinking around 50k as a base price for a scab and up from there. If I do buy a gen 2 I might go for a scab this time around. After a year with the Screw I realize I really didn't need 4 doors.

I've never regretted my SCAB. Other than the 26g tank which I have not had any problems with, I think it's all positives. A little lighter, better angles, a little more clearance and of course cheaper!
