I am looking to install some rear facing ambers, which vendors sell Whelen Vertex's and the flange mount kits?
You might be able to find them on the internet somewhere, but @WSI is a supporting vendor.

They are about $70 each. Pricey little buggers, but are really nice. They also have 27 different flash patterns when wired up right. You'll need to buy a monetary switch to use this feature.

Thank You for your donations to Avery. We hit our goal!

I just bought a set of used ones off of fleabay. I paid $75 for the pair shipped and they are in great shape. I had to order the flush mount flange kits and momentary switch separately. They are definitely bright!

Good news- I saved a little money. Bad news- no telling how much service life that have seen (or have left).

When I was looking, I found a similar substitute that has good reviews but I don't know anyone that has run them. I may order a set of these to have in case the Vertex fail.

Just be careful on the random websites. Some are selling Whelen knockoffs and passing them off as Whelen. Customers aren't finding out until they send them to Whelen for warranty work. If you find a to good to be true deal on supposed new lights I wouldn't trust it

Thanks for all the info, after seeing some of these lights in action at SnoBall I am going to do the same set up as @Rookie.
I remembered I would need the flush mount kit but forgot about the switch thanks @Yukon Joe

I got my whelen's from WSI and I hope they don't fail for warranty work in 5 years. I got no receipt for the lights other than a single line item for work and job done. Said that Whelen can look it up but no idea how long on shelf. Whelen warranty states you need copy of sales receipt from date of purchase.

You can go to:

Looks to be about 22 in Canada
