And the top hat has a custom part with a bearing seat that the spring spins as it compress. Same principle as a torsion release bearing like a road car. But sealed for off road. The springs are coaxial with the shaft and The top hats also set the top of the shock inboard by 10mm which gives it a bit more travel because of the motion ratio change and also helps with spring clearance at droop.
