What size Torx bit do I need to remove the small access panel on the skid plate? I have a T30 at home but it's not big enough.

Thanks!

Hey There,

I'm almost positive the bolt is labeled 38 so I'm pretty sure that is the size of the torx. I just replaced the oil and filter on my new Raptor and I didn't have a big enough torx as well. I decided to take the front skid plate off instead. There are 6 16mm bolts that hold it on, it was easy to take off and reinstall.

Good luck!

Just take the whole plate off, it's 6 bolts vs 4 torx. Easier to clean up afterwards.

Also if it's your first change the filter will probably be on super tight, you'll want the extra elbow room to get it off.
