I will go up to 5k on the Mobil 1 . It depends on the seasonal changes or how I have been driving .Regardless of miles I always change my oil after the winter months .What is interesting is what BMW does. Mobil 1 was / is their factory fill and they will go 10K . At least they used to . Not sure if that is still there recommendation.
