If you have 2019 or newer Raptor with rear electronic parking brake, and would like to have BBK's on all four corners then R1 concepts are the only choice.

Willwoods, Alcons and Brembos do not work with electronic parking brakes.

I would stay away from R1. I think their quality is garbage and there are other threads on here about R1 that echo that feeling.

I only had the rotors on a previous SRT, not an entire kit, but they warped and rusted less than 1000 miles. Replaced w Brembo and never had an issue.

It's certainly not garbage. At least not yet. However, it's not well thought out as far instructions are concerned and as far as final assembly. But the components themselves are clearly not garbage at this point.

Glad to hear for your sake. I hope that holds true.

As I mentioned, I only had the rotors, but I won’t trust them again.

The Alcons are definitely a niche kit with the ability to fit under 17s. I can’t believe the rotors are cracked...maybe a defective set. I thought they only dimpled those and not drilled, right? I’m guessing it’s all special sizing and no aftermarket options...$2500 is too much for pads and rotors.

i looked at the from the outside today and the cracks are really small but there are alot of them for sure, just tiny little cracks in the rotors , and some overheat spots . they are dimpled not cross drilled thats correct. the total for 4 new rotors and pads with 2 cans of motul oil was 2330 or so, so its a little under 2500 thanks to the free shipping.

I have the R1 BBK. It was designed to fit with 17” wheels, but I can assure you it does not. You NEED 18’s minimum.
Here’s the low down. The installation was a nightmare. The provided brackets did not fit properly and we had to machine (I think) 50 thousandths off of it so that the caliper would not contact the rotor. No shims were included in the kit. 5e instructions were lousy as well.

All of that said, the brakes do work well. I picked up a firmer pedal feel and the stopping power is nice. They were a noticeable improvement over stock. I just got back from Baja about an hour ago and they worked very well. But so did all the other trucks with stock brakes.

Overall the look good and work well, but it was an expensive experiment when I had to buy wheels/tires just to make them fit on the truck.

those def look badass and i contemplating on seeing if they were a better option to the alcons, the thing i liked about them is the ligher calipers and the sweet look design. but i also read what you just confirmed on the bad install information they provide and other fitment issues that i ddint have with alcon. i have the icon 17 wheels and i would not want to go with 18s so i guess i just stick to alcon, they do brake really well and stop so much easier than stock trucks do, my brother has a raptor with stock brakes and everytime he takes it for a spin he always has to say man i love your brakes lol. they may not look the best but they are not very visible anyway under the 17s
