As a future new Gen 3 Raptor owner I am new to Aux switches on this truck, what are they typically used for and what are some that are essential to be added.

i know they may be different with the 2021 but if I wanted to hook to a dashcam, where are the leads?Off road lighting and winches are the most common, I've seen radar detectors, dash cams, easy way control power to various other electronics ect. Just make sure to check the amp for each switch ect.
used to be under hood near fire wall taped to a wire harnessi know they may be different with the 2021 but if I wanted to hook to a dashcam, where are the leads?
That’s the best!!!! . Does the raptor button transform you into grimlock?Lights mostly but a smoke screen would be nice.View attachment 313610
what dashcam are you going with? I am waiting for the Blackvue 900X Plus to come out around the holidays to snag, hopefully.i know they may be different with the 2021 but if I wanted to hook to a dashcam, where are the leads?
I have the Blackvue 900s-2 ch in my current truck now. wired straight to the fusebox.what dashcam are you going with? I am waiting for the Blackvue 900X Plus to come out around the holidays to snag, hopefully.
I wouldn't use a aux switch for a dashcam. I would use a MirrorTap instead (https://blendmount.com/mirrortap).i know they may be different with the 2021 but if I wanted to hook to a dashcam, where are the leads?
