So on another forum I was searching for the cost of getting a truck lined and I came across people who has all sorts of spots lined on their trucks. So you guys who have done it or know people who do, list the parts and reasons that you get your truck lined.

I'm gonna do my bed and rear wheel wells eventually.

When I do I'm gonna look into the possibility of doing the a-pillars on my doors and some or all of my side view mirrors since those plastic parts are well covered in desert pinstriping.

I may also do my fenders, but i still haven't decided which direction I wanna go with those yet.

I know tons of people that get the bed, all wheel wells, frame rails, things that rust easy up here in canada cause of the salt they put on the roads in winter, it's especially bad here in manitoba, wors winters you will ever see :D
which is why i love it

but most common i would say is bed and wheel wells

Front wells might be plastic.... but line-x still provides durability in addition to rust protection... be a good extra layer of armor for things bashin around in there... and then the front would match the rear in appearance atleast. Food for thought.

I'm running "truck bed paint" in the rear wheel wells of my 04 Sierra. I put it in about 1.5 years ago and it's holding up quite well, think I have one small nick in it so far. I think I'd do this again over Line-X'ing them as it is fairly smooth and thus wont hold dirt/mud like Line-X will can with its texture. My in-transit Raptor is already black though, so I won't be doing anything to it.

I'm a huge fan of Line-X though, have had it on pretty much every truck I've owned in the past 10 years and the Raptor will be getting it as well...but only in the bed.
