Finally got around to installing my UPR catch can... Took me tens...yes, tens of minutes to install! :D And half of that was figuring out how I wanted to run the lines, figuring out what tools I needed, and tracking down some Locktite blue for the mount threads. Directions didn’t call for it and it has lock washers, but I’m a belt and suspenders kind of guy when it comes to mounting hardware. Kit out of the box: And installed: Didn’t take any in progress pics because it really is a super easy install, and there are already several how-to videos, etc. out there. Biggest “challenge” was figuring out where to install the Wide Open Throttle (WOT) fitting since my ‘18’s intake tubing is a bit different from that pictured in the directions and in the video I referenced on line. Wound up mounting it near the battery, just before where it turns down to connect to the passenger side turbo: Again, super easy install and glad I finally got around to putting it in...can I get a “so to speak!” The stock tube from the PCV valve back into the intake wasn’t ridiculously contaminated, but definitely had a fair amount of oil residue in there: I almost bought a JLT can, but really liked the OEM fittings on this one, and the additional line to the intake for WOT. Still not sure if it’s worth the additional cost (more than double the JLT can setup), but really happy with how it mounts out of sight under the intake instead of up on the firewall, and again that the lines and fittings look OEM.
