Got bored after wife had me put up Xmas lights and it was to nice outside to be in the house. So I started looking around the garage for something to do and I spotted a piece of aluminum from a CAI I bought for my Audi and I thought that will make a good piece to cover my horns and the wiring. I have read a bunch of post about peoples Raptors getting stolen of attempted break ins and got me paranoid. Now do I really think my truck will get broken in or stolen from in front of my house I doubt it but you never know. The piece of aluminum had a few bends in it so I put it in the vice and got it as flat as I could. After getting it flat I eyeballed where I was going to drill the hole to mount it. I decided that I would just use the existing bolt that hold the horns on. I drilled the hole and then gave it a quick sanding then some paint. Once I pulled the grill off my eyeballing of the mounting hole was spot on. I rotated the horns to ensure none of the wiring would be visible when looking through the grill. I also drilled a hole after I mounted the plate for that white wire harness holder thingy. Its not noticeable with the grill back on and it gave me something to do while drinking some wobble pops. I just noticed the pic of the horns exposed was before I rotated them so the wiring wasn't visible.

After several trips hunting and to and from work, I was able to wash my Raptor after church today. After I got it home I cleaned the windows good, then applied some Ceramic window cleaner on the outside glass. I also used some quick detail spray to get rid of the water spots that were left from the drive home from the car wash. I’m thinking about getting the Raptor paint corrected and then ceramic coated. I also included in the pictures below a shot of the Cobb Carbon Fiber with HCT that I installed back in October.
