Installed an undercover swingcase toolbox on the driver’s side. I removed tailight and reached up through backside of wheel well in order to secure a few stainless bolts w/ washers & nylon lock nuts on the back side vs. using all the bolts that came w/ it- they were just machine bolts w/ a locking washer nothing on backside, on my prior GM trucks I had this box & on those steel beds they used self tapping screws to mount the brackets.

Carry enough weight, drive over enough bumps, remove it enough times & those bolts/screws will start getting loose.

Other than that I love the box that’s why I have had it in 3 trucks once secured like that I’ll put up to 50 lbs of crap in there that I wouldn’t want in the cab + it’s totally removable should you want full bed access vs any traditional box out there.

Changed out my cabin air filter, installed the upfitter tailgate release, and washed the truck.

Hauled a load of mulch out to our property to start dumping around the stands of live oak as we clear out the cedar...

Nice day out there though, especially when I got back in the shade and was able to enjoy the cool breeze off the lake:

Gonna have to get serious about an aftermarket tank solution soon...the only “weakness in the SCAB’s armor is that 26-gallon tank. Especially since I’ve really gotten used to the nearly 700 mile range in my wife’s diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee after a fill up!
