Thought I'd share my little adventure. I was driving from North Carolina back to Texas and look what happened. A lug nut fell off at some point (the chrome one), then 2 more sheered off, then the other 3 became loose. I managed to find some lug nuts at an auto parts store in Mississippi to fit on the remaining post (the chrome one), and managed to hobble home. Good thing I was already planning on replacing the hubs.
But still double check your torque settings after getting new tires put on. I suspect discount tire didn't torque it correctly when they put on a new set of KO2s a couple weeks back and the long trip loosened them. Doesn't look like anything else was warped or damaged, though it might be a good excuse or some methods. Either way, started with some new oem rear brake discs and pads today. New front hubs, brake discs, pads, and vacuum lines will be installed tomorrow.

Are you sure those are the right type lug nut? They look like cone seat lug nuts. What you want are cone seat bulge style lug nuts. Bulge lug nuts have an extended seating surface that is designed to match the wider seating surface used on some aluminum wheels.

Continuing my engine removal, inspection, & re-building. Today's subject matter:
Alternator! Kinda confused on this one. Window sticker says 110A
Parts Store says code reads 150A
Previous forum info states 200A
Sticker on it isn't decipherable.
Also, anyone have a reliable place to buy rebuild parts for these? Just wanting to service it since it's out and don't want to drop a few hundred.

Resprayed the front bumper and installed some 13-14 knockoff headlights with some LEDs. Blow the old halogens out of the water. Also sold the 40” Rigid and ordered a Rad Designs 3rd brake light.
I like that vented middle plate, looks good. Mine never had those three holed wing doodads on the side.
