Do you happen to have a picture of how these heat shields mount up? I've already got the larger Pass side on, but can't remember how these 2 fit up & I can't find a diagram on the ALL DATA app.i just finished replacing my transfer case an hour ago. turns out that was the problem and not my transmission. thank god for that. picked up a used one for $250. much better than the $6k for a transmission. few other small things needed as well, but at least my truck is running now
i dont. but i can probably take a picture. i left the heat shields on, just took off one bolt that was attaching it to the crossmemberDo you happen to have a picture of how these heat shields mount up? If you are referring to @Gumby photos above, the jack is on a metal hitch step turned sideways in the hitch receiver and the jackstands are just under the axle as a safety precaution, not actually touching the axle. The angle of the photo makes it look like it was jacked on the diff, but it was not.The jack stands on the axel is ok? And jacking from the bottom of the diff?
