Decided to re-tape my rockers but noticed some rust starting to form under there. So i pulled the steps and cleaned up the rust and hit the bottom of the rocker with some Eastwood epoxy primer and chassis black. That turned out so well that i couldn’t reattach my rusted step brackets, so i sand blasted those and powder coated them. Couldn’t stop there and had some left over vinyl wrap so i wrapped the leading edge of all 4 brackets. 5 hours of work that no one will ever notice.

its a bit of a pain and no matter how much you rinse it, you'll have dirt falling down on you the whole time. Also, if you plan to use gorrilla tape or similar find some 3" wide stuff. I had to use 2 pieces on a few holes to get them completely covered. I also had bunch of under coating or something sprayed under there so the only clean patch was where the existing tape was

Finished replacing and adding mirror signals. FINALLY! Broke driver's side mirror trying to get it off last week, ordered a new one, had it 2 days later (they said I would have it "next day")

All of the youtube videos about this subject STINK. Many of them just tell you in words how to get mirror off, two do an intro, tell you what they are going to do, then skip over actually showing you how they got the mirror off.

Finally got it done. Went out there PISSED OFF, was aggressive on the mounting tabs with a small pry tool until one of them finally popped, then getting the rest off was fairly easy. THAT was the driver's side. Passenger side was slightly easier.

I was 99% sure I was going to have to order ANOTHER replacement glass for the passenger side. Once you get it off, it's not too bad.

Looks a LOT better now. Tested all lights, hazards, work as they should. :)

That video must be hidden REALLY good!

I had to take the mirrors off to get the wiring for the new front signal addition. I saw one video where the guy showed you how to do it without removing the mirror, but the wires were just wayyyyy too short for that. As was my patience.
