Just curious why Americans are so concerned about others seeing your licence plates? I've never understood that. We don't hide our plates up here. Does the dmv give out your personal info down there?

With the right permission/legal level you can get a lot but mostly its just vehicle info.

I honestly think it's a myth to cover up licence plates, you got a better chance of getting identity theft by swiping your debit card at Starbucks.
