What did u do to your raptor today?

Yeah they didn’t find any. But also told me even if they did they couldnt purchase it. “Too much risk for potential tampering.”

I don’t have a loaner car, haven’t had one and service so far has been very unhelpful besides telling me tough luck.

I’m renting a vehicle in the meantime which they will not compensate for. Going to be talking to corporate after I get my truck back.
Sounds like a no win situation, hopefully Ford can give you a voucher or free oil changes??

Ok getting ready to install these NGK spark plugs. Am I gapping them to .30 per NGK, or .41-.47 per the ford manual? Searched and everyone does one or the other….

I believe 30 is for s/c and 44 is what i used for stock, don't believe anything I write on here though.

If just adding a custom tune or a supercharger NGK-6510 is what you need. Gap should be @ .030 ( but do not come pre-gapped)

I got the 6509’s since I’m not super charged. I was just gonna make them 30. Unless you would advise otherwise
I checked at NGK website and the iridium 6509 spark plug for the Ford F150 6.2 list as gap at 44!

My understanding is: if you are not force feeding your engine (blower, s/c, turbo) you do not need the smaller gap, use the factory gap. If you don't have a tune, I would not recommend the smaller gap!

What if I was gonna be getting a livernoise tune in the next couple of months ? A 91 and 93 tune. If the .30 gap would be good for that, I would rather gap them to .30 now and be ready for it.

I would check with livernois then, I'm not a tuner, but you can always regap them, I know, major pain to do that. I believe the reason for the smaller gap on forced induced motors is because you can get a misfire with the larger gap, now the reverse might be that you overheat the plug, IDk. You need to talk to a tuner, if you are set on veering away from stock specs.

I got a curt 14-1/2 drop shank and curt eq hitch and a pole tongue adapter for the 21ft ranger.

Previously I did some plating in and beefing up on the SVC rear bumper because over a really long trip I bent it a bit when I pulled something a raptor probably shouldn't from the desert out of LA to south padre, unhitched it, ran the beach and then towed it up to MN. As is that bumper could have easily towed this boat, what bent it most SRW diesel guys wouldn't have tried and I I pulled it from the Mohave to padre and up to the Tundra... LOL, and I have owned a 6.7 Ford SD.

Yes the bedsides are going to be wrapped and I have front advanced glass to match that will too..

But....Anyway...

I was able to dial in the hitch so that the ride height of the truck towing the 21-footer is close to the same as when it was un-hitched.

Rides like it's not even towing now.
