Way back about a year ago I started a thread on the other forum (tried to find it but it probably was deleted in "the purge" and he changed my user name there) about fabricated steel bumpers because I liked the look and functionality.

As I was reminded back then, these good looking bumpers with built-in lights and optional light bars above, etc., can be on the heavy side which can/will affect performance (imagine getting air and coming down with that extra weight way out front).

I still like them especially with some integrated lights, tow hooks, optional bars, etc. but I'd be reluctant to add the weight to the front of the Raptor.

There are quite a number of companies who fabricate custom bumpers for pickup trucks including Road Armor (www.roadarmor.com) and they typically fabricate rear bumpers too. Some, like this one have been designed to follow the lines of the truck making them more attractive and functional.

Another thought about these types of "boxed bumpers" is that they extend the front overhang more than the stock bumper meaning they will increase the likelihood of grounding it.

I do not tend to jump my truck, but it does sometimes grind it on stuff so this might be an idea.
I also like that it has fog lamps and integrated winch.
